S. Jyotiranjan is a lawyer and columnist, who currently writes a column titled Contemporaries featuring every Monday in the print and online edition of The Pioneer newspaper. Besides, he is serving as an Additional Central Government Standing Counsel at Central Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack and as an Academic Advisor, Basic Training Institute of Odisha Police at Burla. He is a Distinguished Adjunct Professor of Law and Media Studies, SMC, KIIT University and serves as legal advisor to various media houses.
